RioScape: A Discovery Park is a unique interactive educational resource encouraging exploration, curiosity and learning through play. It incorporates play in a unique family learning environment that reflects scientific and environmental concepts specific to the Rio Grande River. Through interactive play, the park encourages curiosity and learning and demonstrates concepts difficult to teach to children. RioScape has its own Rio Grande River, so children can learn about scientific principles including water pollution, erosion, pumping, hydropower to generate electricity and much more.

RioScape covers 10,000 square feet on the grounds of the International Museum of Art & Science, offering a unique science learning environment where the whole family can explore and learn together. Come see RioScape. There is nothing else like it anywhere!
  • Explore RioScape, the Valley's Interactive Science Playground!

  • Experience mazes, waterfalls, a Climbing Wall, a Whisper Dish and more!

  • Discover the importance of the Rio Grande River to life in the Valley!
