Christmas Tree Forest Application
This year's Christmas Tree Forest theme will be the Flora and Fauna of
Texas. Participants are invited to choose from the great variety of
flowers, plants, animals and birds that live in Texas. The Christmas Tree
Forest Committee selected this theme, because they wanted to make everyone
aware of the wonderful diversity of plant and animal life in the great
state of Texas.

To make for a varied exhibit, we will try to have no more than two trees in
each category featuring the same flora and fauna. That is why it is
important to put your first, second, and third choice on the entry form.
Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so early entry is
recommended. Trees decorated with commercial ornaments will be welcome if
there is space, but will not be considered for a prize. Trees will be
displayed in the North Gallery.

The Christmas Tree Forest is a great favorite with Museum visitors of all
ages, and the Museum is proud of the very high level of imagination and
talent that goes into this community exhibit. Thousands come to admire the
trees over the holiday season, so it's a good place to promote your school
or club. And let's not forget the prizes: $150 for first in each category,
$100 for second, $75 for third.
