Techno Connections - Citing examples right from McCall's artwork, these table-top interactives will allow visitors to explore intriguing flindamentals of science and technology.

K' NEX R Research and Development Center: Visitors are challenged to bring their own technological visions to life by designing, building and testing the next generation of rovers, rockets and space stations using K'NEX component systems.

Teachers wishing to take their classes to DESTINATION: SPACE! should call Education Director Cynthia Cortez at 682-1564, extension 116 to set up a tour time.

DESTINATION: SPACE! is $4 per person plus museum admission, which is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens, students 14 and up with ID, and children 12 and under. Museum admission is free for museum members.

Museum hours are 9 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 Sundays. McAllen International Museum is located at Nolana and Bicentennial, in McAllen. |
