The Rio Grande/Rio Bravo river flows from the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of Mexico.
It serves as a boundry between the United States and Mexico.
It has two names, the Rio Grande (U.S.) and Rio Bravo (Mexico). Once, like its names (grande meaning large, bravo meaning dangerous), it was a massive force of water, carving stone and rock through the ages.
Now, controlled by dams and used by millions of people on both sides, it runs dry in some parts and only a little makes it to the ocean. Take a virtual tour of this grand river and discover the journey of water.
